摘要: Aims To evaluate the effectiveness of a multi-dimensional community-based health promotion and risk prevention programme, named Salutogenic Healthy Ageing Programme Embracement (SHAPE) for senior-only households in Singapore. Background In view ageing population its significant impacts on economy, societal structure policy-making, healthy emerges as an important concept maintaining through engagement health-promoting behaviour actions older people. Design A stratified randomized control trial with process evaluation is proposed. Methodology The salutogenic model, which focuses positive well-being optimizing outcomes, provides underpinning theoretical framework this study. SHAPE 12-week intervention programme comprising both weekly group-based activity sessions home visits. One hundred fifty-four eligible participants will be randomly allocated to either or group. Both outcome conducted. Outcome measures include sense coherence, quality life, behaviours, self-efficacy other health-related outcomes. These data collected at four time points: baseline, 3 months, 6 months 12 months. Individual qualitative face-to-face interviews conducted people receiving explore their views programme.
