Electrochemical reaction of nanocrystalline Co3O4 thin film with Lithium

摘要: Abstract The electrochemical reaction of lithium and nanocrystalline Co 3 O 4 thin films fabricated by reactive pulsed laser deposition was investigated using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry galvanostatic measurements. Our new finding is that during the first discharge process film-based cell film reacts with forms nano-sized metallic Li 2 O, but after charging to 3.0 V CoO instead generated subsequent discharge/charge processes are reversible. A mechanism proposed.
