摘要: Background Collagenous spherulosis (CS) associated with an adenomyoepithelioma (AME) of the breast is rare. This report describes a case CS AME right breast, including cytologic and histopathologic findings. Case A 51-year-old female presented slow-growing left mass that had been present for 5 months. preoperative core needle biopsy showed presence layers or sheaths myoepithelial cells around epithelial-lined spaces. Imprint cytology surgical material bundles spindle admixture epithelial cells. Spherical structures were also found. They translucent slightly light green Papanicolaou staining metachromatic Giemsa staining. Grossly, 1.5-cm lesion was solid embedded within parenchyma. Microscopically, it composed polygonal eosinophilic cytoplasm epithelium lining spaces many spherical structures. The positive markers by immunohistochemistry. Conclusion There no previous describing findings breast. AMEs should therefore be considered underlying pathology
