摘要: DNA repair in the eukaryotic cell disrupts local chromatin organization. To investigate whether resetting of nucleosomal arrays can be linked to process, we developed model systems, with both Xenopus egg extract and human extracts, follow assembly parallel on circular templates. Both systems were able carry out nucleotide excision lesions. We observed that UV-dependent synthesis occurs simultaneously assembly, strongly indicating a mechanistic coupling between two processes. A complementation assay established factor I (CAF1) is necessary for this associated formation.
