摘要: A new facility for experiments in pulsed high magnetic fields up to 80 T is under construction at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) Wuhan, China, funded by National Development Reformation Committee (NDRC). The power supplies are a modular 12 MJ/25 kV capacitor bank 100 MW/100 MJ flywheel pulse generator, most field coils energized with thyristor switches. consists 11 independent 1 modules shortcut current each 40 kA 2 0.5 50 kA. In this paper design bank, including capacitor, protection coil, discharge switch, crowbar circuit polarity changing circuit, explained detail. Digital simulation results driving magnets dual presented.
