摘要: Two cases of strangulation the heart following left intrapericardial pneumonectomy are described. The condition presents in immediate post-operative period by sudden fall blood pressure associated with a high central venous pressure. diagnosis is usually made characteristic radiographic appearances. Actual ventricles more common on side and can lead to irreversible damage short time. predisposing precipitating factors discussed special reference prevention. Treatment established case emergency thoracotomy reduction herniated heart. Recurrence prevented repairing defect or wide excision pericardium.
