摘要: In order to control the composting process, microbially generated heat must be removed from a pile. This is prevent temperature of substrate, which good thermal insulator, reaching levels inhibitive resident microbial population. A model transfer mechanisms responsible for removal any excess has been constructed. The involved are convection and conduction, with radiation effects being assumed negligible.
