摘要: Rainfall-induced slope failure is a common natural disaster that occurs frequently in many parts of the world. Many studies have been conducted on effect advancement wetting front reduction or elimination additional shear strength provided by matric suction unsaturated soil. However, inclusion boundary flux condition such as evaporation predicting soil for rainfall-induced analyses still limited. Therefore, this study investigate combined two (infiltration and evaporation) transient distribution hence factor safety (FOS) modelled which consist height horizontal distance 5 47 m respectively with angle 21°. One year rainfall data site Johor Bahru, Malaysia were collected months selected to represent wet dry seasons based predominant wind systems brings (Northeast Southwest monsoons). Soil samples from laboratory testing relevant properties required obtained. Initial was determined Water Characteristics Curve (SWCC) sample area these initial conditions simulated at beginning each analysis enable realistic be The seepage Seep/w pore water pressure used input parameters stability carried out slope/w. results show considering has great influence maintaining negative especially during period when there more infiltrating Moreover, give better prediction FOS slope.
