摘要: Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), an atomic emission method, has rapidly grown as one of the best elemental analysis techniques over past two decades. Homogeneity testing and quantitative manganese (Mn) in manganese-doped glasses have been carried out using optimized LIBS system employing a nanosecond ultraviolet Nd:YAG laser source excitation. The glass samples prepared conventional vitrification methods. pulse irradiance on surface placed air at atmospheric pressure was about 1.7×109 W/cm2. spatially integrated plasma collected imaged to spectrograph slit optical-fiber-based collection system. checked by recording spectra from different sites sample analyzing intensities for concentration determination.
