Effect of Refraction of p-Polarized Light on Angle-Resolved Photoemission from Surface States on Metals

摘要: It is suggested that the suppression of normal photoemission from surface states on a W(100) near plsma frequency due to refraction effects. Two model calculations are presented which expected bracket real situation, and they both exhibit this property. Possible additional effects cross section discussed.
