Sports Reporting: A Comprehensive Review of the Medical Literature Regarding North American Professional Sports

摘要: AbstractBackground: The increased physical demands of professional athletes predispose this patient population to a unique set injuries typically not seen in the general population. This systematic literature review investigates nature injury reporting (both orthopedic and nonorthopedic conditions) medical National Football League (NFL), Major Baseball (MLB), Basketball Association (NBA), Hockey (NHL). Rigorous sports helps clinicians better understand disease mechanisms relevant specific sports. Hypothesis: will differ within each sport reflect anatomic emphasis sport.
