摘要: To isolate genes specifically expressed at the initiation of plant embryo development we have applied a sensitive subtractive hybridization technique for three isogenic wheat lines so-called ‘Salmon system’ with either zygotic or autonomous development. Here present gene sequence showing high homology to grass pollen allergens type II/III thought be in tissue only. Surprisingly, allergen-like sequence, designated Tri III, is also gynoecia sexual, male fertile line ‘(aestivum)-Salmon’, whereas two parthenogenetic and sterile ‘(caudata)-Salmon’ ‘(kotschyi)-Salmon’ completely lack any III transcript. Our data suggest positive correlation between expression this clone manifestation fertility. Northern situ analysis revealed that, addition its presence pollen, parenchymatous ‘(aestivum)-Salmon’ ovaries exclusively day anthesis. This precise temporal spatial pattern suggests more general function not limited exhibition grains.
