摘要: Background: Closure of ostium secundum atrial septal defect (ASD) vis median sternotomy (MS) is a simple procedure for most cardiac surgeons. Minimally invasive surgery (MICS) has recently been applied in the management intracardiac lesions. Methods: We report our experience surgical closure isolated ASD via MICS 60 patients and MS 58 patients. There was no difference between these two groups gender, age, body weight, ratio systemic to pulmonary blood flow, arterial pressure. Results: The duration cardiopulmonary bypass significantly longer group than [27 126 min (42 ± 12) 14 158 (27 11), respectively; (p < 0.001]. However, length incision, incidence temporary pacemaker wire insertion rate, endotracheal intubation, timing oral intake, postoperative day drainage amount, parenteral analgesic injection, stay, return normal activity interval were significant shorter lower those group. All recovered rapidly from surgery. Follow-up complete all patients, with late complications residual shunt. Conclusion: Our results suggest that good option ASD.
