摘要: Abstract The evaluation of particle velocities in fluidized beds has improved the understanding ongoing micro- and macro-processes significantly. Several measurement techniques are available order to estimate single as well granular flow terms velocity fields. All those feature individual advantages shortcomings, which have been reviewed at various occasions, particular by Werther (1999) Horio et al. (2003) or recently Sutkar (2013) . Often, reviewers presented facility specific findings, not be generalized. Therefore, our study focuses on comparison four different techniques, namely fiber optical probe (FOP), laser Doppler velocimetry (LDV), image (PIV) tracking (PTV), applied under identical conditions one same flat bed facility. Consequently, results obtained with system characteristics can compared derive general conclusions.
