摘要: OBJECTIVE The objective of this study was to evaluate whether an uncontrolled activation mast cells and macrophages through protease-activated receptor-2 (PAR-2) during acute pancreatitis could develop lung injury. METHODS Pancreatitis induced in rats by intraductal infusion sodium taurocholate. In a group animals, PAR-2 antagonist or trypsin (TRP) inhibitor intravenously administered before the induction. additional groups, animals were treated with PAR-2-activating peptide pancreatic TRP. myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity measured progression inflammation. RESULTS Plasma from TRP secretion alveolar as well increased density plasma membrane. treatment TRP, tryptase, PAR-1- led increase calcium-triggered exocytosis. Similar results obtained acinar cells. intravenous injection MPO lung. induction prevent pancreas CONCLUSIONS generated be involved injury macrophages.
