Sexual Health Issues for the Young Adult with Cancer: An International Symposium Held During the First Global Adolescents and Young Adults Cancer Congress (Edinburgh, United Kingdom)

摘要: Sexual health is an important consideration for young adults with cancer; however, oncology healthcare providers are often not equipped strategies to approach these problems in a systematic way. To address this gap adolescents and (AYA) care, one-day international Health Symposium was held before the Global AYA Cancer Congress (Edinburgh, December 2016). The goals of symposium were (1) provide forum, where experts had opportunity share their knowledge regarding sexual (2) develop guideline professionals screen intervene on issues. This review focused commonly encountered concerns: management climacteric symptoms, dysfunction men, (3) contraception during after cancer therapy, (4) psychosocial issues care.
