摘要: [1] The Neapolitan volcanic region is located within the graben structure of Campanian Plain (CP), which developed between western sector Appenine Chain and eastern margin Tyrrhenian Sea. Two areas, spaced less than 10 km apart, are situated CP: Somma-Vesuvius Volcano (SVV) Phlegraean Volcanic District (PVD). SVV a typical stratovolcano, whereas PVD, including Campi Flegrei, Procida, Ischia, composed mostly monogenetic centers. This contrast due to different magma supply systems: widespread fissure-type system beneath PVD central-type for SVV. Volcanological, geophysical, geochemical data show that viscosity, rate, depth storage comparable at SVV, structural arrangements characterize two areas. On basis geophysical geochemistry, an oblique-extensional tectonic regime proposed in area compressive stress dominates over extension. Geophysical suggest with maximum deformation rate extends EW-running 41st parallel NE-running Magnaghi-Sebeto fault systems. The extensional consequence Sea opening decoupled from surrounding areas (Roccamonfina Somma-Vesuvius) still dominated by Adriatic slab dynamics. Spatially, we argue contribution asthenospheric wedge become much important W-NW E-SE CP. development styles volcanism CP reflects regimes acting area.
