摘要: Anionic polymerization of 2-vinylpyridine was carried out in tetrahydrofuran at −78-°C with four kinds initiators, i.e., n-butyllithium, tritylsodium, cumylpotassium and cumylcesium. It confirmed that the polymerizations all these initiators proceeded on a living mechanism polymers obtained had narrow molecular weight distributions. The triad isotactic contents prepared were almost identical, independently counter ions. intrinsic viscosity-molecular relationships determined two good solvents θ-solvent From those relationships, it concluded poly(2-vinylpyridine) has same chain flexibility as ordinary vinyl polymers.
