摘要: Salicylhydroxamic and benzohydroxamic acids were found to bind the resting state of myeloperoxidase inhibit ligand binding heme iron. An ionizable group on enzyme with pKa = 4 affects salicylhydroxamic acid binding; occurs when this is not protonated. The iron ligands (e.g. cyanide, nitrite, chloride) probably controlled by same group. equilibrium dissociation constant acid-myeloperoxidase complex about 2 x 10(-6) M, association rate 7.4 10(6) M-1.s-1. serves as a donor higher oxidation thereby inhibits guaiacol oxidation. was also intestinal peroxidase lactoperoxidase. all three mammalian peroxidases 3 orders magnitude stronger than binding. We conclude that in distal cavity these interact site.
