摘要: Reactive chemical vapor deposition (CVD) polymerization provides a substrate-independent platform for effective func- tionalization of virtually any solid substrates, flat, or curved, even with complex geometries. This article reviews bioactive surface functionalization strategies based on CVD and highlights commonly used chemistries. These reactions include alkyne-azide "click" chemistry, active esters amine, aldehydes/ketones hydrazides alkoxyamines, thiols alkenes alkynes surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization. The resulting biofunctional coatings can facili- tate orthogonal immobilization more than one type ligand substrate. polymer nanoscale thicknesses are widely applicable in biomedical applications be easily integrated into micro- nanodevice fabrication.
