摘要: We study the transport of Brownian particles through a corrugated channel caused by force field containing curl-free (scalar potential) and divergence-free (vector parts. develop generalized Fick-Jacobs approach leading to an effective one-dimensional description involving potential mean force. As application, interplay pressure-driven flow oppositely oriented constant bias is considered. show that for certain parameters, particle diffusion significantly suppressed via property hydrodynamically enforced entropic trapping.
