摘要: Experiments were conducted to show the characteristics of flow on unventilated parallel plane jets. Measurements mean velocity components and turbulent intensities carried out with a particle image velocimetry investigate field generated by air issued from two identical nozzles mixed ambient air. The measurements range these experiments Reynolds number 5300 based nozzle width cases nozzle-to-nozzle distance four times. six times eight nozzle. Results that recirculation zone sub-atmospheric static pressure was bounded inner shear layers individual jets plate. positions. where maximum value kinetic energy show, at same position merging point. spread in region increases more rapidly than Jets converging combined region. As distances increased. it shown lengths shorter.
