摘要: A rollover sensing apparatus and method are provided for predicting and/or pitchover conditions of a vehicle. An angular rate sensor senses attitude the vehicle an accelerometer measures vertical acceleration current angle is estimated by integration, future predicted at advance time as function sensed rate. The compared to threshold output produced indicating condition based on comparison. about longitudinal axis comparing roll threshold, while lateral pitch threshold.
