摘要: Abstract A 30-year experiment with an atmospheric general simulation model has been performed. The lower boundary condition at all oceanic grid points between 38°S and 60°N prescribed to follow the observed month-to-month variation of sea surface temperature (SST) field during 1950–79 period. Much diagnosis presented here pertains midlatitude response recurrent SST patterns in North Pacific Atlantic winter. principal modes variability seasonally averaged 515 mb height fields have identified using rotated component (RPC) analysis. extrema first mode reside over Eurasia, whereas second is associated anomalies Pacific/North American sector. Cross-correlation analysis reveals that these two am linked leading Pacific, respectively. It also demonst...
