Giant Electro-Mechanical Energy Conversion in Lead-Free Ferroelectric Materials

摘要: The authors present a novel approach for electro-mechanical energy conversion over wide frequency domain by employing lead-free ferroelectric ceramics. methodology aims at utilizing Ericsson-like cycle giant electromechanical conversion. Systematic application of electrical and mechanical fields cyclic polarization switching leads to enhanced generation densities. reported density, achieved using 0.94(Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3–0.05(BaTiO3)–0.01(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 ceramic, is three orders magnitude larger than that leading lead-based materials. Estimated density was found be 940kJ.m−3 which significantly higher conventional piezoelectric harvesters.
