摘要: Collagen 1 (C1) is commonly used to improve biological responses implant surfaces. Here, the stability of C1 was compared with collagen 4 (C4) on a mixed macrodiol polyurethane, both adsorbed and covalently bound via acetaldehyde glow discharge polymerization reductive amination. Substrate specimens were incubated in solutions C4. The strength conjugation tested by incubation 8 M urea followed enzyme linked immunosorbent assays measure residual basal lamina protein, laminin-332 (L332) superimposed adsorption C4-treated specimens. Keratinocytes grown untreated, C1-treated, C4-treated, C4 + L332-treated specimens, measurement cell area, proliferation, focal adhesion density. Adsorbed C4 shown be significantly more stable than covalent conferred even greater stability, no degradation over twenty days urea. Cell growth similar for C4, additional benefit superimposition L332. resistance may consequent cysteine residues disulphide bonds its non-collagenous domains. use implants, rather C1, their long-term tissues. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
