摘要: Neither human immune globulin nor mononuclear leukocytes (containing lymphocytes and monocytes) from herpes simplex virus (HSV) seronegative adult donors could protect infant C57BL/6 mice a lethal HSV infection. In contrast, combination of 5 X 10(6) subneutralizing dose antibody protected the mice. Leukocytes (5 or 1 10(7)) neonatal humans not mediate this protection. This is first correlation between defective leukocyte antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) in vitro neonate leukocyte-antibody protection against infection vivo
