摘要: It is difficult to compare genotypic resistance insects across seasons and locations because of the variation in onset severity insect infestation. Therefore, this study, we used no-choice cage technique detached leaf artificial diet incorporation assays for evaluating chickpea genotypes beet armyworm Spodoptera exigua (Hubner). The results indicated that was not useful S. exigua. In assay, feeding by larvae significantly lower ICC 12 475 RIL 20 at vegetative stage 10 393, 475, KAK 2, 25 flowering stage, while larval weight gain reared on EC 583264, stage; those ICCL 86 111, plants raised under greenhouse conditions. field conditions, 583260, ICCV 10, November sowing 3137, 111 December suffered low damage 58 320, 745 1CCL weights were recorded stage. survival diets with powder 393 lower, a significant reduction 3137 genotypes. fecundity also reduced 25, 20, 2 suggest assay could be large-scale screening exigua, additional information antibiosis mechanism insect.
