Experimental evidence for an isomeric transition of size selected methanol hexamers

摘要: We have measured the predicted isomeric transition between two energetically lowest lying isomers of S6 and C2 symmetry (CH3OH)6. The clusters are size selected by momentum transfer in collisions with He, identified their infrared spectra. occurs at a nozzle temperature 368 K corresponding to cluster 23 K.
