Relevant Measures to Prevent the Spread of African Swine Fever in the European Union Domestic Pig Sector.

摘要: During the last decade, African swine fever (ASF) has spread from Caucasus region to eastern European Union (EU) countries affecting domestic pig and wild boar populations. In order avert ASF spread, mitigation measures targeting both populations have been established. However, despite these efforts, reported in thirteen different (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Moldova, Czech Republic Romania). absence of an effective vaccine or treatment ASF, introduction onto farms can only be prevented by strict compliance control measures. This study systematically reviewed available prevent EU sector distinguishing between commercial, non-commercial outdoor farms. The search was performed PubMed using a common browser. A total 52 documents were selected for final review process, which included scientific articles, reports, official recommendations, among others. From this literature review, 37 identified as preventive ASF. Subsequently, assessed experts their relevance on three mentioned types All agreed that some important all were: identification animals farm records; enforcement ban swill feeding; containment pigs, so not allow direct indirect - and/or contacts. Other education farmers, workers operators; no contact farmers staff external pigs; appropriate removal carcasses, slaughter residues, food waste; proper disposal manure dead animals, abstaining hunting activities during previous 48 hours (allowing hour interval being with pigs). Finally, farms, is improve access those veterinarians health services.
