摘要: In this research work, the behavior of medium voltage stator bar groundwall insulation that is subjected to steep-front pulses, at various repetition rates and temperatures, studied. The test conditions include; pulse amplitudes up 3.5 kVp, switching frequencies 3 kHz, in ambient temperatures 23 155 degC. During aging process, surface temperature monitored with an infrared camera as a means for determining locations highest therefore regions PD activity. Visual observations confirm degradation measurements show increased activity reduced inception aging.
