摘要: Thirty-two percent of the liquid metal used to make flat steel products in Europe does not end up a final product. Sixty this material is instead scrapped during manufacturing and remainder fabrication finished products. Although scrap collected recycled, remelting requires approximately 2 MWh/t, but some could be diverted for use other applications without remelting. However, diversion depends just on mass also its characteristics. To enhance our understanding potential such diversion, paper presents novel flow analysis produced 2013. This considers characterized only by but, first time, grade, thickness, coating. The results show that thin-gauge galvanized drawing most commonly demanded grade across industry, generated automotive industry. There are thus opportunities preventing diverting grade. We discuss role geometric compatibility parts propose tessellating blanks various car manufacturers same coil increase utilization rates steel.
