These currently married white ranging age from 18-38 years were terms 3 levels socioeconomic status (SES) religious affiliation (Catholic Protestant). Subjects administered questionnaire assessing models components for behaviors--having child having during next using oral contraceptives. For total provided highly accurate prediction intentions. high multiple correlations behavioral (BI) observed within each major subsamples indicated intentions most likely generalizable majority American population. predictability unaffected such factors as SES level education or religion. As Fishbeins there evidence attitude toward behaviors correlated about evaluations these consequences. superiority measures predicting BI demonstrated data. In sum investigation fertility-related may be understood BI.
