摘要: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common cardiac arrhythmia.1 The risk of stroke attributable to AF rises dramatically with age: 1.5% for persons aged 50 59 years, and that increases 9.9% 70 79 23.5% 80 89.2 left atrial appendage (LAA) has an anatomic structure very favorable thrombus formation in patients AF, who often experience limited contraction stagnant blood flow. In fact, a review published reports reveals 90% cardiothrombic events non-rheumatic originate from LAA.2 All these studies, except one which autopsy was performed, used transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) detection thrombi.2
