60 GHz patch antennas in LTCC technology for high data-rate communication systems

摘要: We have developed rectangular patch antennas with single-ended and balanced feed ports, respectively, for use in high data-rate millimetre wave transmission systems. The were designed the unlicensed ISM-band at 60 GHz, fabricated ceramic multilayer technology employing dielectric-constant materials. For experimental characterisation of layout a coplanar wafer prober, wide-band balun was designed, which transforms waveguide into stripline. structures, transition to microstrip line used instead. both types antennas, measured S-parameters are presented analysed.
