摘要: An investigation of the propagation and radiation behaviour circular corrugated waveguides is described. Particular attention given to modes unity azimuthal dependence because their importance in antennafeed applications. It shown that pattern a waveguide exhibits nearly perfect symmetry over 1.5:1 frequency band, and, when corrugations are approximately λ/4 deep, symmetric there no crosspolarised component radiated field. The attenuation dominant HE11 mode investigated theoretically be less than H11mode uniform at least 2:1 bandwidth. important similarity described between dielectric rod low relative permittivity, such as those used fibre optics optical waveguides. Finally, determination input voltage standing-wave ratio (v.s.w.r.) junction homogeneous experimentlly studied.
