摘要: Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to examine the many reports looting during response operation in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina 2005 and assess these against literature which suggests that natural disasters a myth.Design/methodology/approach Media from days Katrina's landfall are compared with previously published evidence disaster mythology.
