摘要: Purpose To report a single-center experience with nonsurgical correction of epiblepharon using hyaluronic acid gel. Methods The medical records consecutive patients symptomatic treated over 3-year period gel injection were reviewed retrospectively. Hyaluronic was injected transcutaneously into the suborbicularis plane to obliterate abnormal skin fold or evert eyelid margin. Successful treatment defined as eversion margin assessed by lash-cornea touch. Results Ten eyelids 8 (7 girls [88%]) underwent transcutaneous for epiblepharon. Average age at presentation 16.5 months (range, 1-72 months). Two had bilateral involvement. Of 10 eyelids, distinct “valley” above it. Nine touch in primary gaze; 1 downgaze. All eyes punctate corneal epitheliopathy on fluorescein staining. An average 0.19 ml 0.1–0.3 ml) per eyelid. After injection, 9 showed no downgaze, and all resolution symptoms epitheliopathy. Patients remained symptom-free an final follow-up 19.1 months 5-42 months). No procedure-related complications noted. Conclusions In our small case series, lower effectively corrected epiblepharon; effect long lasting.
