摘要: ABSTRACT Interfacial bond strength, failure modes, and pull-out behavior in steel fiber reinforced plain polystyrene impregnated mortar have been studied using single-fiber tests. In cohesive occurred the calcium hydroxide (portlandite) layer adjacent to fiber/matrix interface; matrix cracking was also observed. contrast, exhibited adhesional separation at interface, with being intact. An adhering of material covered relatively rough wire surfaces unimpregnated specimens whereas were clean specimens. A fourfold increase interfacial strength has achieved by polymer impregnation. Impregnated showed a slower decay frictional shear traction during pull-out; work improved 640 percent.
