摘要: A system and method are provided that reduce the amount of data held commonly in both high-ranking low-ranking cache memories, thereby having each those memories hold more efficiently. More particularly, a computer is with an HDC card 21 connected to expansion bus 20 HDD unit 22 21. The disk (high-ranking memory) 54 (low-ranking memory). exchange select information for selecting swap mode memory when started up, different modes according exchanged respectively.
