摘要: An improved antenna for use with an implantable microdevice (12), such as a microstimulator or microsensor, comprises loop (13) on the case of microdevice. The receives data transmitted from external device (14), and transmits to device. Such may be formed two cylindrical sections (20A, 20B) separated by insulating material microdevice, separating metal cylinder into parallel semi-cylinders (28A, 28B) material. A tuning circuit (26A) comprising capacitors and/or varactors is used obtain resonance in antenna, thus creating sufficiently large effective aperture. In preferred embodiment, electrodes (32,34) are modified both perform their primary task tissue stimulation secondary radiating elements antenna.
