摘要: We apply our self-consistent accretion disk corona (ADC) model, with two different geometries, to the broadband X-ray spectrum of black hole candidate Cygnus X-1. As shown in a companion paper, models which Comptonizing medium is slab surrounding cold cannot have temperature higher than about 140 keV for optical depths greater 0.2, resulting spectra that are much softer observed 10-30 Cyg In addition, slab-geometry predict substantial "soft excess" at low energies, feature not X-1, and Fe Kα fluorescence lines stronger observed. Previous Comptonization literature invoked geometry depth τT 0.3 coronal Tc ~ 150 keV, but they self-consistent. Therefore, ADC appropriate explaining Models spherical an exterior disk, however, temperatures models. The due lower amount reprocessing radiation giving rise Compton cooling rate. sphere-plus-disk geometry, predicted can be hard enough describe continuum X-1 while predicting having equivalent width ~40 eV. Our best-fit parameter values ≈ 1.5 90 keV.
