摘要: Abstract We show that application of the non‐hydrostatic pressure to cluster‐based molecular material, like fullerite C60, provides a new opportunity create elastically and structurally anisotropic carbon materials, including 2D polymerized rhombohedral C60 graphite‐type (sp 2) disordered atomic‐based phases. The elastic anisotropy, detected by difference in ultrasound velocities propagating along across loading axis, is directly confirmed results x‐ray diffraction.
