摘要: Biological maturation is associated with significant change to a number of physiological and structural processes throughout childhood and, in particular, adolescence. Mismatched rapid growth the long bones relative muscular lengthening may disrupt structure, neuromuscular function, physical performance. Practitioners who work school-age youth should be aware age-related changes that typically take place during child's development ensure their strength conditioning programming as safe effective possible for enhancing performance reducing injury risk. Although there are several methods available assess biological maturation, practitioners can benefit from assessment feasible, provide utility quantification degree stages affect motor children adolescents. This article synthesizes relevant provides rationale understanding usable tools aid training program design youth.
