Morphology of diamond crystals grown in magnesium-based systems at high temperatures and high pressures

摘要: Abstract A series of experiments on diamond growth in the Mg45Cu55–C, Mg50Ni50–C, Mg50Cu25Ni25–C, Mg50Ag25Ni25–C and Mg25Cu25Ni50–C systems at a pressure 6.3 GPa temperature range 1550–1650 °C was conducted. The morphology crystals features their were studied. {111} {100} faces, with cube faces playing dominant role, found to be plane-faced forms crystal growth. If magnesium content system is 45−50 at%, occurs regime inhibition formation antiskeletal crystals. In case constant intensity face up its complete growing out, quasi-faces trapezohedron {311} are formed striations [110] direction. related oxygen inflow from cell parts accompanied by crystallization oxide surface. reduction 50 25 at% or an increase leads cessation promotes
