High-Performance E -Band Continuous Transverse Stub Array Antenna With a 45° Linear Polarizer

摘要: This letter presents a continuous transverse stub (CTS) array antenna with high aperture efficiency, low sidelobes, and cross-polarization characteristics over an E -band. The consists of full-corporate-feed 32-slot CTS 45° linear polarizer. A multiple-aperture excited parallel-plate waveguide structure works as source generator to generate the quasi-TEM wave uniform amplitude distribution whole operating band from 71 86 GHz. polarizer contains two layers slots, shifting polarization principal -plane ( φ = 90°) intended 135°). achieves cross sidelobe level (SLL) while maintaining efficiency. Measurement results show that has efficiency 74% peak gains better than 37.9 dBi -band, far-field SLLs in - H -planes approach ETSI class IV envelope standard.
