摘要: The polygon engine of this invention is a technique for rendering computer graphic display using compressed data format. A list objects the next frame converted into spans each horizontal line display. converts all set run-length-encoded bit map lines frame. Conflicts between overlapping are resolved based upon depth value corresponding objects. Any remaining unspecified pixels filled with predetermined background color. Lastly, updates buffer to correspond lines, preferably by comparing those current and writing only changed buffer. An alternative embodiment uses in form trapezoids whose parallel sides horizontal. hardware extension specify
