摘要: Abstract We discuss the electron spin depolarization of a hydrogen beam formed by charge capture in polarized alkali vapor. An expression is derived for final ground-state polarization as function external-magnetic-field strength. This reveals interesting possibility producing with an unpolarized target. Some additional implications our result practical proton source are considered.
