摘要: We consider an UWB PPM based wireless body area network with average throughput of about 1 Mbps. For a long battery autonomy low duty cycle operation the nodes and thus high peak data rate is essential. Due to moderate path loss in excess 50 Mbps would be feasible within FCC transmit power constraints. With current complexity detectors, such as energy detector, constrained much lower values, because they are very sensitive intersymbol interference (ISI). In this paper we constrain our attention detectors for PPM, which utilize observation window one symbol duration generate decision variables subsequent decoder. The key contribution family partial channel state information (CSI) improve robustness ISI. Specifically treat following cases CSI: (i) no CSI, (ii) delay profile (APDP), (iii) instantaneous (IPDP). To further performance presence ISI, simple post-detection maximum-likelihood sequence estimator (MLSE) introduced. Finally results given, that highlight tradeoff between covered by proposed detection schemes
