摘要: Thermal analysis of aqueous solutions in which the solute does not crystallize immediately upon freezing was carried out to define effects experimental parameters on thermograms glass transition region. The intensity enthalpy relaxations region is related both rate cooling and heating through region—slow or slow increases extent structural relaxation glassy state endotherm. Plots logarithm versus l /Tg′ are linear, activation enthalpies for range 210–350 kJ/mol. For polymeric solutes, heat capacity change accompanying increase with increasing molecular weight solute. Molecular dependence observed midpoint agrees Fox–Flory relationship. Results compared contrasted transitions solid polymers hyperquenched water. Practical implications characterization formulations intended freeze-drying discussed.
